Description
Anastasia Mosquito Control District (AMCD), 120 EOC Drive, St. Augustine, FL is searching for a full-time Biological or BioMechanic Technician to perform various laboratory, semi-field and field testing with mosquito adulticides against caged mosquitoes. The position is two year grant contracted full time, with full benefits, and a non-exempt position. Background and Driver’s license checks are mandatory. You must be 18 years old or older to apply. STARTING ANNUAL SALARY: $38,000 to $50,000, depending on level of experience. Qualifications
A master degree in the field of entomology, toxicology, biology, or bioengineer, or a B.S. degree with at 3 year experience in the insecticide testing. Must possess and demonstrate a proficiency in a variety of computer software systems, and exhibit good, interpersonal and communication skills.
