Description
Howdy! The DoD College Acquisition Internship Program (DCAIP) application period is open. The DCAIP is a paid, 10-week summer internship that provides students with real-world exposure to Department of Defense acquisition workforce career opportunities. The application period is Sep 1 - Oct 15, 2018, or until we receive the maximum number of applications. The website address to apply is http://www.hci.mil/dodcareers/internship.html During the internship, students will receive hands-on practical experience in analysis, research, report-writing, briefings, policy development and program analysis. Students will have the opportunity to perform their internships within the following agencies: Missile Defense Agency, Defense Contract Audit Agency, Naval Sea Systems Command, or the Defense Contract Management Agency. Students selected will be placed in an agency according to the geographic locations annotated in their application. Available locations are: Northeast * Hartford, CT * Boston/Lowell, MA * Philadelphia, PA Midwest * Chicago, IL * Dayton, OH South * Washington, DC Area * Huntsville, AL * Melbourne, FL * Orlando, FL * Atlanta, GA * Dallas/Ft. Qualifications
Applicants are required to be second or third year (sophomores or juniors) full-time students to participate. Students graduating in spring/summer 2019 are not eligible. Students in all degree fields are invited to apply.
