Guided by the values of the company, the Market Development Representative is responsible for developing and executing regional product development initiatives from initial launch to post-launch phases. The position will be based in the Delta sales region: Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi or Texas. Our Uniqueness: We live and breathe our values We get things done We empower our people We have passion in all we do We dare to be different We make it simple Fundamental Areas of Focus: Champions, determines, and deploys regional market develop and defense trials with support from Regional Sales Manager, the Product Strategy Leaders, and Crop Development Managers. Acts as the first line of technical support to regional Territory Sales Representatives for managing technical sheets, product introduction, demos and field days to provide reasons to believe that drive demand for our products. Implement late-stage protocols to refine local value propositions, summarize results and use data to train sales force and give confidence in product profile. Provides technical development expertise to Sales, Accounts, Marketing, Strategy and Retail to help differentiate ADAMA in the market & extend product lifecycles. A key player for ADAMA's Southern Region by leading technical communication and education opportunities within the marketplace. Builds and maintains relationships with key center of influences (COI) and end users to include universities, consultants and grower locations to successfully pull through ADAMA's line of products. Builds relationships with key customers to identify market gaps and opportunities and co-create solutions that are in-line with the company strategy guidelines.
- Qualifications
- Masters or a PhD in agricultural life sciences such as plant pathology, entomology, horticulture, weed science, and agronomy and a minimum of 5 years of experience providing technical support. Acts as an expert who can effectively communicate technical knowledge. Experience with hands-on technical activities. Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and ARM. Strong knowledge of the US market, knowledge in all segments (herbicides, insecticides, fungicides,) Written and oral skills to communicate with all levels of business.
